B-2 Spirit is also known as "The Flying Wing" .The first prototype was publicly displayed on November 22, 1988 at Air Force Plant 42, Palmdale, Calif. One of the photographers shot a photo from the air. On the picture could be seen that the plane was W shaped. Its first flight was July 17,1989. The first B-2, Spirit of Missouri, entered service in 1993.
